There is a nationwide fault with BT today (started circa 8:15am). We are getting reports from everyone on a BT internet connection that there is an issue.
Thousands of people have been left with limited internet access as a regional fault has resulted in BT Broadband lines going down across the entire UK.
As this is such a widespread issue we expect this to be resolved as soon as possible today. As of 10am, BT says the broadband outage is due to “power issues at one of our internet peering partners’ sites in London” and that engineers are working on a fix.
