Our top tier provider experienced a severe Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack against their network today at around 15:00. This is resulted in loss of connectivity to a wide range of services, and as a result lots of the websites and online services that we host went down temporarily.

Normal service is now restored to nearly all services, although a few are still experiencing slow response times or unreliable connections. These will recover as soon as possible.

Please note that this was an infrastructure and routing problem, and web hosting and websites thereon were not under attack and thus were not compromised.
