Microsoft 365 offers voice services which directly integrate with the platform and work inside the Teams apps on both desktop and mobile.
Teams Phone
Teams Phone is a cloud-based telephony solution that integrates with Microsoft 365. It offers calling services and plans together with chat and meetings, all within Microsoft Teams. It includes:
- Enterprise-grade phone system – reliable and secure calling, and delivered via the cloud.
- Unlimited receiving – unlimited incoming calls from anywhere in the world.
- Calling plans available – 3,000 domestic and/or 600 international outbound calling minutes per month per user.
- Phone numbers – get new phone numbers or migrate your existing ones.
- Built-in audio conferencing – localised dial-in numbers integrated into every online meeting.
- Third party routing – bring your own phone service or existing provider via Direct Routing.

Teams Phone Standard license for £7.70 per user pcm, to upgrade Teams to be able to make and receive phone calls to/from landlines and mobiles. Calling service is not included and this subscription is designed to bring your own third party service via Direct Routing or add a Teams Phone Calling Plan. Pay-as-you-go calling is not supported.
Teams Phone with Pay-As-You-Go license for £9.20 per user pcm, to upgrade Teams to be able to make and receive phone calls to/from landlines and mobiles. Outbound calls are billed by Microsoft by per minute usage via pay-as-you-go Communications Credits. And/or you can add a Teams Phone Calling Plan.
Teams Phone with Domestic Calling license for £13.10 per user pcm, to upgrade Teams to be able to make and receive phone calls to/from landlines and mobiles. With 3,000 domestic (UK) outbound calling minutes included each month.
Teams Phone with International Calling license for £26.10 per user pcm, to upgrade Teams to be able to make and receive phone calls to/from landlines and mobiles. With 3,000 domestic (UK) and/or 600 international outbound calling minutes included each month.
Audio Conferencing
Audio Conferencing allows participants to join Microsoft Teams meetings on the go, without an internet connection. Use a localised dial-in number to join a meeting from virtually any mobile device, or dial out to help others join a meeting.
- Dial in – join the audio for meetings by dialling a local phone number and entering a PIN.
- Dial out – connect others to the audio of your meeting by dialling out using the Teams app.
- Automatic integration – dial-in numbers and instructions are automatically included with meeting invites.

Microsoft 365 Audio Conferencing license for £1.92 per user pcm, to upgrade Teams to be able to create a conference dial-in number for all your Teams meetings, which can be useful to cater for team members always on the move and for the convenience of your clients.
