Google AI now included
Google’s general AI, Gemini, is now included in Google Workspace. The ‘Starter’ plan includes access to Gemini within Gmail, whereas the ‘Standard’ and ‘Plus’ plans include access across the full suite of tools including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet, and more. Gemini can handle multiple types of data including text, images, audio, and even video. It can process and generate content across these formats, providing a useful AI assistant with writing, planning, learning, and more.
All Google Workspace plans now include access to Google’s research AI, NotebookLM. This is designed as a research assistant, which can work on your documents to summarise, explain concepts, answer questions, and more. It can also generate audio overviews, which turns your documents into engaging discussions between two AI hosts; like listening to a podcast discussion about the documents you have provided.
