We are pleased to present a custom Document Management System (DMS) for Houston Lawrence Management, which automatically creates perfectly designed and branded PDFs – designed by Metric and built by Direction Forward.
Houston Lawrence Management has been involved in all areas of residential, commercial and mixed-use property management throughout London and the UK for over 20 years. They needed a solution to more effectively create consistent and high-level documents for their clients and management portfolio, including Management Contracts and Site Visit Reports. Manually creating these each time was previously time-consuming and a waste of resources. It also led to inconsistent results and branding, due to the limitations of desktop publishing software like Microsoft Word.
The new DMS enables the Houston Lawrence Management team to create, edit and amend documents seamlessly, by using base templates for each document type which are then customised to the client and/or asset. Information can be entered as text, tables, billeted lists, points of contact, images, and more. All the information is then automatically formatted using company branding as well as being automatically laid out. A PDF is dynamically created on request, either for view or for download.
This tool instantly reduces the workload needed to create custom information packs for clients, as well as elevates the quality and consistency of the documents produced. To see an example, please see below.
