As previously reported, the UK Government has retired the Web Check and Mail Check services from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). These services have now officially ceased as of 31 March 2026.
This means all free attack surface and email security scanning previously provided through these tools has ended. It’s important to ensure that you now have alternative monitoring and protection in place to avoid gaps in coverage or disruption to your security. You might need to take action to replace the service.
