In recent months, X (formerly Twitter) has made several changes to its API, which have had a drastic impact on how all third-party developers, including Direction Forward, work with its API. Due to X’s decision to change its API policy and pricing, we have determined we do not currently have a solution to provide all our X integrations in their previous forms. Here’s how our integrations are impacted:

Website Feeds
These will continue to function with updates once per day. You can see an example of a website feed under the heading “Tweets” on our homepage at directionforward.com.

Social Media Wall
The Social Media Wall will continue to include X (formerly Twitter) as a content source with updates every six hours.

Middleware
Middleware operations will cease to function on 1st September 2023. If we operate any middleware services for you for X (formerly Twitter), we have already contacted you to make you aware of this.
