The Jack and Ada Beattie Foundation Launch New Website

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new website for The Jack and Ada Beattie Foundation. Us and the designer Metric are happy to see this project come to fruition.
The Jack and Ada Beattie Foundation was set up by Trevor Beattie, the son of Jack and Ada, in 2011 in honour of their memory. The Foundation’s aim is to fight against inequality in all its forms and adhere and display the Beattie family trait of defiance in the face of inequality.
The Foundation’s latest initiative launched this earlier this year and is a special loan scheme called, Bank of Mum and Dad. The idea came from how Payday loans are often known to charge too much and pay too little — so the Foundation set up the loan scheme that gived people their dignity back. The loans are interest-free, charges-free, bank-free loans for people who need them most. The person has 12 months to pay the loan back and then the same money gets passed on to someone else in need of financial help.
The website has full CMS and is fully responsive across devices. The images and elements in the side panels are custom parallax animations and the site is fully retina.
