Google previously offered a free edition of Google Workspace (previously called Google Apps and then G Suite), also known as the ‘legacy free edition’. As of 1 July, 2022 the legacy free edition will no longer be available, and Google will make it mandatory to use a paid service.
If you have the legacy free edition, you need to upgrade to a paid Google Workspace subscription to keep your services by 1 May, 2022. You can review paid plans on our website here.
If you don’t upgrade to a paid plan Google will automatically apply one. However, if payment information is not set up, your account will be suspended. After 60 days of suspension, you will no longer have access to your account.
If you don’t upgrade to a Google Workspace plan, you will not lose access to other Google services such as YouTube, Google Photos, and Google Play.
You can contact us for help with transitioning your legacy free edition to a paid plan, and thus retaining your account, services, and data.
