OneDrive now supports differential sync for all files and all users

Microsoft OneDrive has now enabled differential sync for all files and all users.
Differential sync is where only the changes made (the differences) are synced to the cloud, in comparison to the whole file having to be synced to OneDrive. This will of course greatly reduce the time it takes to sync documents, especially for particularly large files. Differential sync also reduces the data usage, and thus reduces the load on networks and even helps the environment by reducing power consumption.
This has been a long-awaited for Microsoft to release. Differential sync has been a feature of OneDrive but only with support for Microsoft Office file types. It was expected that Microsoft would release this in both 2017 and 2019, however it has now finally been confirmed for all files and users.
