The Jack and Ada Beattie Foundation has launched Tons of Help (tonsofhelp.com) to lend a hand to those suffering in this time of crisis.

Tons of Help is offering £100 grants to people who are currently struggling to pay for essentials such as food and utilities, which will help many households and families. The Foundation has already raised great interest, received many applications, and gained national press.

£100 (a ton) is more than Universal Credit gives per week. This amount could cover the average weekly grocery spend of a household of two adults or could cover the average monthly energy, water and broadband bills of a household, combined.
