Windows 8.1 has been released. See a summary here from pocket-lint.com. It’s not a massive overhaul, but it is designed to fix some of the many problems reported by users of Windows. It’s a free upgrade to all existing Windows 8 users, and will come pre-installed on new machines after the 17th October.
