cPanel, the industry-leading hosting control panel solution, announced a big change to their licensing and pricing in June 2019. Licenses must now be per account rather than per server, which has an impact on all infrastructure and hosting using cPanel.
All providers using cPanel are affected by this change, as modern platforms consist of multiple accounts for multiple clients spread across multiple servers. Everyone must now license each client account, not just each server.

From the start of 2020, the cost of hosting services using cPanel will include a fee of £6.00+VAT per month to cover your account cPanel license.
