Microsoft is ending support for multiple products on 14 October 2025.
Once Microsoft ends support for the below products, they will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support – leaving systems exposed and out of compliance. As such, we are discontinuing support for these products at the same time and for the same reasons.
Products reaching end of support on 14 October 2025 are:
- Windows 10 (Non-LTSC)*
- Office 2016 (including Outlook 2016, Word 2016, Excel 2016, PowerPoint 2016, Publisher 2016, Access 2016)
- Office 2019 (including Outlook 2019, Word 2019, Excel 2019, PowerPoint 2019, Publisher 2019, Access 2019)
- Exchange Server 2016
- Exchange Server 2019
- Hosted Exchange**
- OneNote 2016
- OneNote 2019
- Visio 2016
- Visio 2019
- Project 2016
- Project 2019
- Skype for Business / Server 2015
- Skype for Business / Server 2019
- Visual Studio 2015
- Visual Studio 2022
- SQL Server 2014
- Windows Server 2012
- Legacy OneNote for Windows 10 app
- Delve in Microsoft 365***
*Please note that Windows 10 supplied as part of Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) in an organisation domain environment will still be supported via Microsoft’s Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, giving access to security updates beyond the end of support for Windows 10. Organisations can receive security updates for up to three years after end of support for Windows 10. Endpoints which fully support Windows 11 may be upgraded. Endpoints which do not support Windows 11, are out of warranty, or are not of sufficient specification will be replaced as part of the organisation’s upgrade cycle/process.
