If you have a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 device, you can reserve a free upgrade to Windows 10 using the Get Windows 10 app, for a limited period of time¹.

1. Click on the small Windows icon located in your system tray — that’s to the right of the taskbar near the clock when viewing the desktop.
2. Select to “Reserve your free upgrade” in the app’s window.
3. Enter your email address for confirmation and to be notified when Windows 10 becomes available to you.
4. And that’s it! There’s no obligation to install Windows 10 and you can also cancel your reservation if you wish.
