Microsoft has released a major update for the OneDrive client, which affects both home and business users. Everyone is advised to update in order to keep their OneDrive services running properly. Interestingly, if you also sync SharePoint libraries (in a business environment) then you need to also keep the old client as well — thus both have to be running.
This update provides a faster and more reliable sync experience so you will have the latest version of your files accessible to you from any device.
