The NES Classic Edition consoles were made available on Amazon today at 2pm Pacific and have sold out in less than one second.

The retro game console, with its retro aesthetic and solid game selection, has been welcomed back 33 years after it’s original product release. A nostalgic return for the beloved product will bring it into the 21st century where new and old users can enjoy its basic but obviously much loved gaming system. The trend of “basic” retro products making a return to fit into the fast evolving tech world will assumably be a trend we see continuing in the future.

Nintendo has assured agitated the public that “there will be a steady flow” of the console — so please wait before spending too much to a re-seller.
