Microsoft have announced that Office 2013 will reach the end of support on 11 April 2023.
After this date, Microsoft won’t provide any new security updates or fixes for Office 2013, and therefore it may be vulnerable to security risks and impact your ability to meet compliance obligations. Office 2013 may also have performance or reliability issues.
Microsoft previously retired Office 2013 from connectivity with Microsoft 365 services back in October 2020. This version of Office is not blocked but there is no guarantee of compatibility or support.
Microsoft encourage users to upgrade to a newer version of Office, such as Office 2021 or Microsoft 365 – in order to receive regular security updates and all the latest features.
